Juventus are ready to cash-in and allow Matthijs De Ligt to quit the club in the coming window.
The defender has been linked with a number of top sides across Europe in recent windows, but we have shown no willingness to sell as of yet.
We are now claimed to have had a change of heart however, with SportMediaset claiming we are now keen to accept an offer for his signature in order to reduce our wage budget as well avoiding bonus payments to Ajax which will trigger in the near future.
I hope for the good of Juventus that these reports are untrue, as De Ligt has been amongst our best performers this term, and he will only get better as time goes on due to his young age.
We also have to be vividly aware that both Giorgio Chiellini and Leo Bonucci are in the twilights of their careers, which will make it even tougher to re-strengthen if we did actually allow the Dutchman to leave, but a strong end to the season for Rugani could well be be a factor in our decisions this summer.
Could Juve really be considering allowing De Ligt to leave this summer?

Bullshit, we shouldn’t sell him if he doesn’t want to leave.If he wants to leave then it’s a different story. Besides he produces the goods for us and we have arguably the best young defender in the world. He is more than perfect for replacing Chiellini or Bonucci.

Rugani????? Pffffff… he’s a fail. He’s not bad, but not a starter. Sell de Ligt (his heart is set on Barca, so sell to Chelsea to get the most $). Get Romagnoli, get Bosman, we have Gatti. Get Pogba for free (7-8M salary cap). If not, get a younger guy instead of Pogba. Sign Kessie, keep Dybala. And we have a balanced budget + a Champions League winning team. And get Gigi Buffon back, he’s a leader in the dressing room + he deserves a CL trophy

Top class defender, but really lacks in the build up play. Something Ajax supporters also highlightet when he was there.
Other lacks are his habit for handball=penalty and not really being any threat going forward (see the Sassuolo match). If the price is right = Sell!
You haven’t been watching juve then, the boys an unreal talent letting him go would be up there with Juve selling Koman, juve shud also have kept demiral or romero so that along with de ligt they cud form a great defence for juve after bonucci and chiellini

I think De Light is one of the better defences around, sell him would be a mistake, at lest that he requests to leave,and also we need to think also that Raiola is going to be a pain in the ass when the moment about a renewal arrives.
he is not Italian, so I think that he doesn’t have that spirit to become a Juve legend as our current old defenders are.
