Juventus have turned down another offer from Chelsea for Alex Sandro as they step up their own pursuit of Nemanja Matic.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are pushing to sign the Serbian midfielder after he was left out of the Chelsea squad for their pre-season tour, apparently to organise a move.

First contacts between the two sides were made, and Chelsea initially asked asked for Alex Sandro in a move worth €70m, however Juve turned down the offer yet again.

The Blues then quoted Juve a €45m for Matic who they would prefer to sell abroad, rather than allow him to go to direct rivals, Manchester United.
