Juventus are closely following midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud, having watched the player feature in Borussia Monchengladbach’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici watched Dahoud in action following Juve’s 3-1 Champions League victory in Seville.
Sky Sport transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed Juve’s interest in an interview with RadioVS yesterday, stating Juve are following the player and even if a move doesn’t materialise next year, Dahoud is considered a long-term target.
Very interesting news: @FabrizioRomano: “Paratici really likes #Dahoud, it is true that they are following him. ” #RadioVS

Dahoud’s contract with the German side expires in June of 2018 which could mean he’s available for a lower price next summer, provided he doesn’t extend his existing deal.
Juve could face opposition from Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool for the Syrian-born star.
Decent talent, has some way to go as he is still very young. I think Tielemens is much better even though he is younger.
Will someone tell Ventura to shut his mouth about comments on other leagues?
Is he an idiot saying PSG basically play in a non competitive league and that Verratti is better off playing in Serie A? Based on what? All he’s going to do is provide bulletin board material for french teams every time they plan an Italian team. His thought process is laughable.
Has he not noticed that Serie A hasnt been the league it once was 10-15 years ago?
He might be semi delusiinal and that doesn’t bode well if you’re a fan of the Azzurri.
What does anyone think?
The French league does suck though doesn’t it… he is not wrong in that. Only this year PSG are not running away with it at a canter. That is only because they are in transition, have lost Zlatan and have a new manager who may not be as good as the old one.
Shame about Ligue 1, it’s hard to say why it sucks because it has some great stadiums and some good attendances at the clubs (St Etienne, Marseille, Lyon etc). But the reality is French league football has never been at the top table like England, Spain, Germany and Italy and Portugal.
Serie A still has more chance of getting a CL / Europa league winner than France I’d say.
I was surprised by what he said but if I am not mistaken, what he truly said or meant is that life is too easy for Verratti at PSG. They have been dominating the Ligue 1 and thus Verratti doesn’t experience tough moments. That means he cannot develop further as a player.
I dont think he meant to say Ligue 1 is rubbish.
On topic, I am not familiar with this guy and have no idea what to think of him. Wont bother looking into it much either, until things get more concrete for him, if ever
