Numerous reports in the Italian and English press suggest that Emre Can has decided to leave Liverpool and will join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer.

A transfer has been touted for months, however some reports today in both England and Italy have lent more weight to Can choosing Juventus in the summer.

The German international is a free agent in June and will be able to agree terms with a club in February and it looks increasingly likely that it’ll be Juventus that get the player.

Today’s Guardian newspaper report that Can has given his consent to Juventus having agreed a “five-year contract worth £85,000 a week and a sizeable signing on fee.”

A further report came courtesy of the highly reliable Romeo Agresti who spoke with RadioVS this evening and likened the deal more to Juve’s signing of Fernando Llorente than their proposed free signing of Alex Witsel.
