Juventus set to hijack Napoli’s move for 22-year-old Italian international

August 1, 2022 - 4:30 pm

Juventus has had a longstanding interest in Giacomo Raspadori, and this might be the transfer window that he finally joins them.

The attacker is one of Italy’s best young players, and he has been developing well at Sassuolo.

The Black and Greens have just sold Gianluca Scamacca, yet they will allow Raspadori to leave for a good fee as well.

Napoli looked to take advantage of that and they closed in on him as Juve focused on other targets.

However, the Bianconeri are now back in the race, and a report on Tuttomercatoweb claims they want to hijack the transfer.

Juve now wants him to be a part of their team, and the report says their interest means Napoli is now behind them in the race for his signature.

He will almost certainly choose a move to the Allianz Stadium over joining the Partenopei.

Juve FC Says

Raspadori is a similar striker to Moise Kean, and both of them are of the same age range.

The Bianconeri have seen some fine form from Kean in this preseason, and they probably need to give him another chance to prove his worth.

Bringing Raspadori to the club will automatically reduce Kean’s playing time, and there is no guarantee the Sassuolo man will perform better.

Better? Kean cant perform at all…too busy dancing…get rid of him and replace him. Team needs at least a midfielder and another LB before we even start talking about finishing top again. Spend this summer before all the talent becomes unavailable. SMS, rasp and a LB and we are good to go.

Raspadori is better! Not similar to Kean that can’t control the ball properly. The match against Madrid showed that Juve needs to do better than having Kean as their first choice backup striker

juventus is very confused as far as tranfer market is concern always making mistakes and buying wrong players, they will first of mention good and quality players but later they will buy wrong and unfit players, the likes of Raspadori, Memphis, Jorginho,Paredes, Emerson Pameirie, Marcho Alonso, Arnautovic, Marcelo, Milinko Savic, Domenico Beradi, Gianluca Scamacca is who Juve Need and not those weak players.

Really? He is more of a Dybala type of player. Kean has terrible stats last season. Here are the stats for our strikers in Serie A (games/goals/assists):
Vlahovic 36/24/3, at Juve it is 15/7/1
    Dybala 29/10/5
    Morata 35/9/7
    Kean 32/5/1

As comparison di Miria in PSG had 26/5/7 and Raspadori 36/10/5

You can’t compare Raspadori and Kean. Kean’s position is center forward, and Raspadorri’s is second striker. Kean is waste of money. 35M for a 5 goals per season striker.

How is he similar to Kean? Raspadori is more of a trailing striker similar to Dybala. Different style player, can’t say he’ll be better or not than Keane but Juve could use more of a youth injection and I’m all for this
