Juventus could be on the verge of announcing their latest signing: Atletico Madrid full-back, Guilherme Siqueira.
Tuttosport, GdS and Gianluca Di Marzio all report that the Bianconeri are set to announce the signing of Siqueira on a season long loan with an obligation to buy in 2016.
The Brazilian full-back is believed to be putting pen to paper on a three-year deal worth €2m per season today.
Juve will pay Atletico an initial loan fee of €2m with a fixed price of €6m for the full purchase at the end of the season.
The move looks almost certain to go ahead, especially as Atletico have left Siqueira out of the squad for tomorrow’s friendly match against Cadiz.

I;m more than ok with it. We need the cover at LB – Asamoah is out, Padoin isn;t great there and Caceres is cover for Lichtsteiner. A solid LB is not an easy thing to come by
I’m not crazy about Caceres as RB either, he is serviceable there but I think he’s much better as a CB. I just hope that Siqueira proves a lot of people wrong cuz it seems many are not for this move. It’s starting to become too easy to place my blind faith in the hands of Marotta and Paratici
Wasted money, we need top of the list LB, not some mediocre bench player. Don’t tell me there are no players we can loan, and look for top player next year. How about Digne?!

But he still can be, he is young, fast and creative. Siqueira have no petential, he’s slow and for 8M too expensive… we already have Evra for tired performance
Siqueira is not slow? And Evra gives far from tired performances? He was awesome last year. So when Evra’s contract is done after this year then we splash on a big name next summer. Right now Siqueira is better than Digne and there are so many more LBs out there with more potential than Digne so I rather sure up the spot for this one year then go all out next year. Just my opinion. I would’ve loved to get a LB this summer but we have a budget and this was the best move for that I believe
Those are not supposed to be questions, right? Evra was the main source of frustration for me last season. If not for Pogba, who covered his failed attempts to attack, we would get so many goals from left side. Sure, he had three or four great games. But simone was more consistent, and better. (( Still Evra>Isla ))
I see what you mean with the next year. And I kinda agree, if we get Ilkay G., I’ll settle for Siqueira, but in SA he will get like 4 red cards, because he defends like a pig (but maybe that’s Simeones work)
Evra from December on was one of Juve’s best and most consistent players. You thought Padoin was better?? That’s kinda crazy imo. And I doubt Siq will get 4 red cards this year.
Youre on drugs. Evra was outstanding for his age and coming into a different environment than one he was used to in league style, tactics and formation. Hes world class.

If you ask me, he was a big contributor in making it to the CL Finals, mainly with his experience and his attitude. I think he’s great, he’s a leader. He also played very well so I don’t understand how you were frustrated with him.
