Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas confirms that Corentin Tolisso “has been approached” by Juventus.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been of interest to the Bianconeri since last year and a previous bid in the January transfer window was rejected.
“Alexandre Lacazette has a 50/50 chance of staying, but it depends on him,” Aulas told beIN Sports.
“When a player comes and asks you to sell him to a club that made an advantageous offer, it would be wrong to slam the door on him.
“It’s also true to say that a striker like him who scores 25-30 goals per season has a particular price-tag.
“As for Tolisso, he was approached by a big Italian club that will be in the Champions League Final, but at this moment things have calmed down.”
Previous reports had suggested that a deal had already been agreed for the French international who has scored 14 goals with six assists in 45 competitive games for Lyon.
Tolisso, Douglas Costa and De Sciglio wouldn’t be bad, although I’m not too convinced with the latter. Perhaps Benjamin Mendy instead.
Rather De Sciglio then. Though both Costa and De Sciglio seems overkill. I think a CF is essential for this summer, if Higuain is out, we really haven’t got quality replacement. Doesn’t even have to be some 22 year old with great talent, I would be more than happy with a proven 28 year old. We have got Kean in the wings, he should be at the club in the coming years
Pretty much in the same mindset, my friend…We desperately need an alternative at CF, either someone experienced and proven or someone young and brimming with potential like mr Schick.
I do not watch any bundesliga football so have only seen Costa playing in the CL, he looked great in the 15/16 season! This rumour of Rafinha is interesting…
– De Sciglio would be HORRID!!! i have no clue why a big club like us, is looking at such an average and under performing player like him, there are so many better options.
– Costa it depends on the price, He is a good player, but he is no Alexis Sanchez, based on what i have heard and seen in highlite reals, Keita could be the better option.
– Tolisso would be a god send! a much better rounded player then Verratti, and someone with a whole world class future ahead of him!
I agree with Belgian a CF is crucial:
– Though GutterPoet may scold me for this when he later peruses the comment sections, Mbappe would be the best CF signing us and any other team can make. Of course since every other big team is after him, competition will be fierce and we may not get him, but he would be a far better option than Schick
– Another better option than Schick would be Daniel Sturidge who will most likely be sold for cheap, and our competition will be teams like West Ham United. Yes Daniel may have quite the injury history, but look at Khedira, who was the same if not worse than Sturidge, Sturidge would be amazing quality for the money, and being second fiddle will still see him with plenty of minutes.
Agree. Except about Veratti whom I think is really great.
