A report in La Gazzetta Dello Sport suggests Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has reached an agreement with Barcelona, but a number of players are linked in exchange.

Reports in the Italian press have continued to suggest that the two sides were in talks, with the suggestion being that Juve would offer Pjanic in exchange to Barca for Brazilian midfielder Arthur.

Gazzetta report that Pjanic is ready to say goodbye to the Bianconeri and wear the Barca shirt, having already agreed personal terms.

In order for the transfer to be completed, the two clubs will need to find a counterpart in the deal, with various names touted.

Arthur is highly regarded and Juve want him above all others, but the player has announced he has no intention of leaving Barcelona.

Neither team wants to put money into the potential deal, so another prospective offering could involve Ivan Rakitic or Arturo Vidal, each valued at €15m, or right back Nelson Semedo who is valued at closer to €35m, but this would still leave a deficit for Barca to pay.

Pjanic joined Juve from Roma at a cost of €38m and is now valued at closer to €60m and while the Bianconeri could have raised more for him last summer, it remains a capital gain.

According to Gazzetta, for his part, 30-year-old Pjanic knows that it is the chance of a lifetime to play for Barcelona and it would be madness to say no.
