Marko Pjaca has officially joined Fiorentina on loan for the 2018/19 season with an option to make the move permanent next year.

Talks between Juve and La Viola had been ongoing for over a month and while there was a suggestion that the two clubs had met an impasse, the move was finalised earlier today.

The Croatian winger will join Fiorentina on loan for the upcoming season, as confirmed by a statement on the Bianconeri’s official website:

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A announces that the agreement with ACF Fiorentina S.p.A for the loan, until June 30 2019, of the player Marko Pjaca has been reached for a consideration for €2m

“The agreement also provides ACF Fiorentina the option, to be exercised at the end of the 2018-19 football season, for the definitive acquisition of the player at a price of €20m, to be paid in three financial years.”

Despite no mention of a buyback clause for Juve in the clubs official statement, Fiorentina have confirmed via their own statement that the Bianconeri will have a option to bring Pjaca back to Juve:

ACF Fiorentina announces that it has acquired, on a temporary basis with a right of redemption and counter-option, the rights to the sports performances of the player Marko Pjaca from Juventus FC.
