Juventus midfielder Stefano is on the verge of completing a loan move to Premier League club Watford.

The 25-year-old has featured sparingly for the club since joining Juve in 2014, playing largely as a substitute under coach Max Allegri.

His agent had previously suggested that a number of clubs were interested in signing his client, including West Ham, Everton, Genoa and Sporting Lisbon.

Goal Italia, Premium Sport and number of other Italian media outlets report that Juve are now close to agreeing terms with Watford.

Sturaro is expected to join the Premier League side on loan for the 2018/19 season with Watford retaining an option to buy him outright in June 2019.
