Simone Padoin, Roberto Pereyra and Daniele Rugani have each signed one-year extensions to their Juventus contracts.
Rugani’s deal was set to expire in June 2019, but he will now remain at Juventus until June 2020 as confirmed in the clubs half-year financial statement, posted on their official website.
Padoin’s current contract was due to end at the end of this season but he’ll now remain in Turin until June 21017 while Pereyra has extended his contract until 2020.
I’m most happy with the fact that Rugani was willing to sign an extension. Looking forward to him play more regularly!
Good news on these contract extensions (or is it with Pado… I don’t see much of him on the TV in UK). Good to see Juve’s ever improving financial clout starting to bare down on others and swatting away potential suitors for our best players.
Talking of money, has anyone spied the half-yearly financials posted on Juve website? Stunning to see 200+ million euro’s for 6 months, and a big profit with it too. But drilling down there were entries about a couple of clubs including Bologna having filed law suits against them for 40 or so million E’s each I think in relation to the scandal a few years back. WTF! How can that be right, the losses could never be quantified if they thought Juve had ‘stolen’ the Seria A titles they were stripped of. Also interesing is that the lawsuits have been filed in Naples. Correct me somebody, but is that because they believe a Napolitan judge, lawcourt would likely find in there favour due to the hatred of Juventus down south? Shabby antics IMO. Let’s hope Juve’s lawers blow them away.
Padoin extending is nothing special, if he doesnt get the time others need, I dont mind him being here.
The financial situation is getting better and better, which is all due to the great work of the management and ofcourse a healthy rise in sales helps. shirt sales have gone up again, ticket sales due to having our own stadium etc..
Thats not how it works, its just that the court which handles such matters is located in Naples. It has nothing to do with favouritism.
Where did you hear this from? I never heard of such cases. In any case, such things will never succeed against us, its from too long ago. We have been proven innocent of the initial charges and we dont get our Scudetti restored because it has been over x years ago. So the same will apply to any lawsuits apparently going on now.
It’s mentioned in the official club press release this week for the half yearly results.
I believe we are operating near a 30m profit already. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure I read that. And they’d have to have proof we cheated and then gained money solely because of the results tied to the cheating for us to give out any money to anyone. And the statute of limitations has been up for a while for Calciopoli, or we would have ruined Inter a few years back when everyone found out they were 100% behind everything, and had cheated more so than anyone.
