It’s official – Roberto Pereyra has joined Watford in a deal worth €13m plus €2m bonuses.

The deal was confirmed by Watford late last night and Juventus have released a statement this morning also confirming the deal.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A announces that an agreement has been finalized with Watford Association Football Club Limited for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Roberto Maximiliano Pereyra for a consideration of €13m to be paid in four financial years.

“The consideration may increase of €2m on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.

“The economic effect is positive for about €0.2m.”

While he had a poor campaign in 2015/16, largely due to long-term injuries problems, the season prior was a memorable one. Pereyra was instrumental in Juve’s Champons League run as well as in the league and Coppa Italia. Wishing Roberto all the best at his new club!
