This summer, Juventus kicked off the transfer session in a spectacular way by landing the services of two of the best available free agents, Angel Di Maria and the returning Paul Pogba.
Moreover, Federico Cherubini secured the services of the young Andrea Cambiaso who could take the torch from Alex Sandro in the coming years.
Nonetheless, the Bianconeri’s transfer market is far from over, as several other departments still need some strengthening.
So what should be Juve’s remaining priorities on the market for the rest of the summer?
4- Backup Striker
As we all know, the Old Lady is searching the market for an experienced and reliable striker who can act as an understudy for Dusan Vlahovic, with Marko Arnautovic appearing to be the preferred candidate for the role.
While it’s certainly important to add a new forward to the fold, this position remains less significant than others since we’re talking about a backup after all.
3- Deep-lying Midfielder
Despite signing Pogba, Juventus still lack a midfield anchor who can act as a Regista in front of the defense. Perhaps someone like Leandro Paredes.
But if the Argentine’s transfer fails to materialize, Manuel Locatelli would be able to interpret the deep role, while Nicolò Fagioli could be the surprise package.
2- Winger/Attacking Midfielder
Let’s just say it loud and clear, we’re basically talking about Nicolò Zaniolo who is now the club’s main priority.
The versatile Italian would provide Max Allegri with various tactical solutions and could be one of the best coups of the summer.
1- Defender(s)
With all due respect to Zaniolo, bolstering the backline should be the main priority for the club at the moment. As the old saying goes, it’s the defense that wins titles in Calcio.
Matthijs de Ligt’s future remains in limbo, but if he sticks around for the upcoming campaign, Giorgio Chiellini’s departure left a major gap in the back.
Thus, addressing the defense is a must be the priority for Cherubini and company if they wish to build a genuinely-competitive squad.

I believe signing Arnautovic doesn’t work out so well as Juve will struggle to convince Bologna to cash in on him. Therefore, I’d like to bring Morata back instead of some 33 y/o defiant. For an intense role of a Regista, I will definitely not cling with Paredes. Be might be super-talented but as the old saying goes “Future success is represented by prior success”. I love that idea of playing Locatelli up in the defense, while Fagioli will make an official appearance in Calcio. A defender like Milenkovic is going to mend our defense but if De Ligt leaves, which is very much plausible, we have to bring somebody like Gleison Bremer in addition to Fiorentina man. I suggest Juve to cut their ties with PSG over Kimpembe. The best piece of this thread is Nicólo Zaniólo. Woof! The Italian clubs will offer the Scudetto to us if we finish this transfer window with the aforementioned signatures
A good left full back should be our priority right now because I can vividly remember most of the goals we whoop in last season was from the left back .I think signing a new left back should be the main priority and I believed the board directors don’t believe in the young cambiaso our new signing.
We are still lacking decent full backs. Yes, Cambiaso has got the potential to become reliable in the future, but we have no idea if he’s better than Alex Sandro at the moment, and Sandro was terrible last season. On the other side we have Danilo, who is a solid option, but nothing more. He’s more like a CB, as he doesn’t offer any danger in the attacking phase. Cuadrado will find more time to play in this position, with Di Maria and Chiesa (hopefully coming back), but he’s not getting any younger. I don’t think we can be competitive without signing 2 alternatives to the current roster.
Yusuf and Steven, you are both correct. A left back is the min priority and a right back the next priority. We have allowed Molina to sign with Atletico when he would have given RB a lift. Yes, we don’t know if Cambiasso will be better than Sandro, but sending him out on loan when Sandro is still on the roster is plain dumb. Moggi needs to come back to the club as this mob are clueless.
I think more opportunities should be given to the U23’s, namely Fagioli & Soule. Other leagues are producing 17 & 18 year olds and selling them to us for millions. Juv have a youth program an should be giving more opportunity to such. We are supposed to be rebuilding. Chiellini’s departure was known well before the season ended & his replacement should have been selected & pounced on at the earliest opening of the transfer window.
