Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed that Juan Cuadrado is close to signing a new contract.
The Colombian winger has been transformed under coach Maurizio Sarri, making him the first choice right-back at the club.
Cuadrado has delivered consistent performances since the switch in position, forcing Mattia De Sciglio and Danilo to the bench.
Now Paratici has confirmed that a new deal is close to being agreed, telling Sky Sport Italia:“It’s not completed yet, but we are very close.”
The 31-year-old’s contract with the Bianconeri expires in the summer but it’s thought that the renewal should be very straightforward and will be announced imminently.
