Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is in the UK to finalise the deal for Maurizio Sarri while discussing Paul Pogba and Joao Cancelo with Manchester United.

Various media outlets and newspapers in Italy report that Paratici has flown to London to meet with Chelsea in the hopes of freeing Maurizio Sarri.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio claims the Bianconeri director also met with Manchester United to discuss the possibility to signing Pogba while including Cancelo as part of the deal.

Previous reports had suggested that the Portuguese right-back was closer to joining Manchester City ina a  €60m move, however Di Marzio reports the deal is far from finalised.

Sky also report that Paratici was in France before arriving in the UK to discuss Tanguy N’Dombele with Lyon as well as promising youngster Amine Ferid Gouiri.

The final part of his visit is expected to conclude with Maurizio Sarri being appointed as Juventus coach, however there are mixed reports over whether or not the Bianconeri will have to pay any compensation to Chelsea.

Juventus director Federico Cherubini was asked about the prospect of Sarri joining Juventus when at a meeting in Milan yesterday and replied “We’ll see, we’ll see.”

Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi spoke on Sarri’s potential appointment as well, telling Telelombardia:

“Sarri is having problems getting away from Chelsea.

“He’s grumbling now and is a bit pessimistic, we heard from him this morning, but Juve told me on Saturday that they trust it’ll be done soon. That was Saturday, now it’s Wednesday… I hope for everyone’s sake this gets resolved.”
