Miralem Pjanic is set to return to Turin for further tests following an injury picked up on international duty.

The Bosnian midfielder was on international duty against Italy when he was substituted in the 77th minute with a suspected muscular injury to his right adductor.

Goal Italia and others now report that Pjanic will return to Turin to await further tests, missing Bosnia’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Liechtenstein on Monday.

Speaking after picking up the injury, Pjanic was optimistic, telling RAI: “I hope it’s not too serious, as I think I stopped in time.”
