Miralem Pjanic believes this season could be the best of his Juventus career and targets the Super Coppa as Juve’s next objective.

The Bianconeri midfielder was present at the Gran Gala del Calcio awards where he was named as part of the team of the year and offered his thoughts on Juve’s season to date.

“It is a great season, and we are only almost half of theway in to championship,” he told JTV.

“We are happy with what we are doing, so everything is going as it should go even if we always expect so much, we always expect to win.

“We will continue to do what we know how to do well, the first goal has been achieved: getting past the first round in the Champions League.

“Of course the championship is our main goal that we want to keep at home, then step by step we will see what comes, and we will see how to deal with all the possible opponents.

“The Super Cup is coming soon, and for us and the club it will be the next step to win that too trophy.

“Passing the first round of the Champions League is important because there are so many good teams in Europe, it is always difficult to play the Champions League.

“We are first, we secured qualification in the last game, and we are happy. It was a first goal achieved and that is what we wanted.

“Now before the break there are three or four games to try to win as usual.

Is this the best Pjanic of his career?

“Yes I feel very good, I am playing a great season, I am happy with what I am doing.

“For me it’s important that the club win, that the team continues to achieve the results of the last few years and I will try to give the best possible Pjanic.

“I’m really happy with this team and what I’m doing.”
