Juventus have signed PSV youngster Leandro Fernandes while Pol Lirola has joined Sassuolo on a permanent basis.
20-year-old Spanish full-back Lirola has spent the season on loan at the Neroverdi and Sky Sport Italia report that his move was made permanent earlier today.
Sassuolo general manager Giovanni Carnevali reportedly held a meeting with Beppe Marotta in which a deal was agreed to transfer Lirola for €7.5m, alongside Juve youth player Alessandro Tripaldelli. Wile it’s yet to be confirmed by the club, it’s suggested that both deals will include buyback clauses in both contracts.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old Leandro Fernandes arrived for his Juventus medical earlier today and the deal is now being reported as being complete. The talented Dutch youngster had previously attracted attention from both Roma and AC Milan before agreeing a deal to join the Bianconeri and is expected to go straight into the Juve Primavera squad.

Wait??
Lirola is never coming back to us??
FFS!!
Why?
Weve got a buy-back
i didnt see any confirmation about buy back option.I only know we have counter option in Orsolini’ deal but not sure about Lirola. Anyway, if he was any good, we wouldnt sale him and 7m seems good amount.
Hopefully so!!
He is a 20 year old that’s started two seasons straight in serie a… again only 20 with a top of potential. I think this is a huge mistake, Sassuolo sucks this year so can’t judge him on that.
i thought he is a little older
Thanks for your respond.
Always thought that Pol is the next Lichtsteiner.
The board has literally just sold every prospect we have…. Lirola, Caligara, Romagna, Kanoute…… wtf are they doing?
