Rodrigo Bentancur has arrived in Turin and undergone his Juventus medical.
The Boca Juniors starlet has long been expected to complete his move to the Bianconeri after Juventus confirmed that they would exercise the option they retained on the player following Carlos Tevez’ transfer in 2015. It’s believed the deal will cost Juve approximately €9.4m with the Uruguayan midfielder expected to formally join the club in the summer.
A brief statement on the clubs official website confirmed his arrival:
Rodrigo Bentancur arrived at J-Medical this afternoon. The Uruguayan midfielder is carrying out routine tests ahead of a proposed move to Juventus from Boca Juniors.

welcome young man.Wish you bright future with black & white shirt.
Why do they call him the Argentine Pogba?
He plays in a similar position, at least to where Paul played with Juve, though perhaps a little deeper and more able at intercepting and nicking the ball. He is comfortable moving the ball at his feet or spraying quality passes. Did very well indeed in the recent South America U20 tournament, captaining Uruguay to top spot and earning an award (I believe) as player of the tournament. Similar languid style also. High hopes for the lad, Seb.
I dont see why he has a lot of hype, hid videos certainly dont merit it; But you are a juventino now! best of luck Bentancur
