Simone Zaza is on the verge of completing a transfer to Premier League club West Ham United.

The 24-year-old striker has been linked with Wolfsburg and Napoli over the course of the summer but a move to the Premier League has looked ever more likely in recent days.

It’s reported that Juve and West Ham have reached an agreement over the transfer, with a number of Italian news outlets, including Sky Sports Italia, confirming the deal could be completed for €25m plus bonuses.

Speaking to Radio VS last night, TuttoSport and CalcioMercato journalist Nicola Balice reported that Zaza has requested a move away from Juve, given that he’s currently 4th choice striker behind Higuain, Dybala and Mandzukic.

The ever reliable Romeo Agresti has also weighed in on the possible transfer, suggesting that it will in fact go ahead and that a deal is close.
