Former Juventus midfielder, Momo Sissoko, has spoken about several issues at the club and he believes the arrival of Leandro Paredes will unlock Manuel Locatelli to become even better.
The Euro 2020 winner has been playing in a deeper role at Juve since he joined the club because the Bianconeri has lacked a player for that position.
That is one reason they relentlessly pursued a move for Paredes all summer.
The Argentinian has now joined them on loan for the rest of this campaign.
His arrival means Juve now has a midfielder that can effectively play a deep-lying role and Locatelli can play further forward.
Sissoko insists we can now see the best of the Italian. He told Il Bianconero:
‘He did well when he was playing from the middle wing. With a player like Paredes, I think Locatelli can exalt himself and do well like him when he was playing at Sassuolo.’
Juve FC Says
Locatelli has been below par since he moved to Juve and fans have been wondering why he has not been as effective as he was while at Sassuolo.
Paredes should help him return to form and it would be exciting to see him play closer to the strikers.
Exactly what we have all been waiting for
If Allegri was a good coach he wouldnt be sitting clueless until he recieved an extremely specific and unique type of player. Instead he would have been able to make a simple tweak to help the players at his disposal perform and believe there are so many.

Spot on
I still Believe could have easily made a great Midfield out of Locateli , Zakaria and Mireti last leason. but Chose not to. Probably the presence of Rabiot and Mckennie hindered that
Mckennie is useless. he doesnt affect the game, just runs around aimlessly, always out of position. Mirretti should be the middle of the park playmaker, because he also has the aggression to bomb forward. locateli has been completely stifled since coming to juve, just look at his disallowed goal. why hasnt he been allowed to play further up the pitch? Vlahovic needs someone close to him to free him up. allegri constantly puts him up top alone and relies on the cross into the box with vlahovic 2 or 3 against one in the air. And the two forward midfielders arent joining him in the box either.
this is why we are struggling to score. i would even play milik underneath with vlahovic, much like where dybala would have played.
Locatelli is not a top club player. he is a good, not great player. McKennie is not a top club player either. Locatelli hahaha
