Wojciech Szczesny is close to renewing his contract with Juventus, tying him to the club beyond 2021.

The Polish international has turned in a series of superb displays for the Bianconeri this season, most recently against Milan in Juve’s slender 1-0 victory.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that Szczesny and Juve are just a step away from agreeing a deal that will take him beyond 2021, keeping him at Juve until 2024.

The report suggests that the two parties are very close to reaching an agreement as Juventus are keen to avoid leaving a renewal until the last minute.

Alongside Szczesny, Juve are also expected to renew the deals of Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi.
