Reports from the Italian press suggest Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic has decided on a move to Manchester United.

The Croatian international has been on the sidelines since the start of the season and has failed to feature for the club, having failed to agree a move to Qatar earlier in the season.

The 33-year-old had been linked with a move to United toward the end of the summer, only for the transfer window to close without the final details having been decided.

Tuttosport now report that Mandzukic has decided that he wants to move to United in the January transfer window and would prefer to make the move sooner to acquaint himself with the club.

The paper also suggests that Juve may be prepared to accept as little as €5m for the transfer with a view to opening discussions with the Premier League club about Paul Pogba.
