The Athletics’ David Ornstein hosted Italian football specialist James Horncastle on his podcast.
The Serie A correspondent discussed some of the the most important topics at the moment related to Juventus.
Naturally, the future of Cristiano Ronaldo took a large chunk of the talk.
Whilst Ornstein pointed out that finding a buyer for the Portuguese would be a tough task considering his enormous salary, Horncastle believes that Paulo Dybala should be the one pushed to become the face of the club going forward.

Absolutely, look at the diferent levels of impact on the team Juve:
Dybala =
5 Scudettos
3 Coppa Italia
3 Doubles
1 UCL final
Ronaldo =
2 Scudettos
0 Coppa Italia
0 Doubles
O UCL finals
selling dybala is a great mistake
Absolutely look at the different levels of impact on the team Juve:
Allegri: 5 Scudettos (just one season when CR7 came, CR7 made comeback under him, and Juventus were looking fire)
Sarri: 1 Scudetto (CR7 again had just one season under him, yet managed to do phenomenally well)
Pirlo: 1 Supercoppa Italia (CR7 under him for about half a season, yet us the highest goal scorer in Serie A at the age of 36, this is the time when Ronaldinho retired and was partying, so did Brazilian one. And CR7 second best scorer in top 5 leagues of Europe at 36, like what else should he do? )
Did Juve board give him enough time to adapt to a system? Not even enough synergy with new teammates?
Now you have a coach who never coached a team in the past, I don’t think he should be even called a coach. He is clearly getting carried by the quality of players not by his tactics, I wonder if there is tactics.
REMEMBER, IT TOOK CR7 5 YEARS TO WIN AN UCL AT MANCHESTER UNITED, AND 4 YEARS TO WIN AT REAL MADRID, AT THAT TIME THERE WERE RUMOURS OF HIS MAN UTD RETURN, BUT HE WON THE UCL JUST 1 YEAR AFTER THE RUMOURS.
And teams were built around him, but here in Juve you guys are busy with change want instant success, it comes at a price. You gotta sacrifice some more years.
GIVE CR7 TIME IN JUVE 2-3 MORE YEARS. And build a team around him or play in proper tactics, which will be not only beneficial for him but for his teammates.
