The latest reports from Italy and Turkey suggest Juventus pulled out of negotiations for Wesley Sneijder.

The Bianconeri were believed to be making headway in their bid to bring the Dutch midfielder to Turin but his agent was quick to distance his client from the latest rumours.

“Sneijder still has a year and a half on his Galatasaray contract,” Guido Albers said according to GianlucaDiMarzio.com.

“If Juventus want him, they can pay his €20m release clause. Wesley is happy in Istanbul, I don’t know where these rumours surrounding him have come from. I don’t understand Juventus’ optimism, later we’ll talk with Galatasaray about extending his contract.”

Following on from that earlier report, Calciomercato claim that Juve have ended their interest as they are not prepared to pay the asking price of €15m.
