Juventus sent scouts to watch Lyon striker Moussa Dembele in their 6-0 victory over Angers on Friday.

The story was originally reported by French website SoccerLink but has now been confirmed in the Italian press as well as French outlets.

Corriere Torino, Corriere Dello Sport and L’Equipe all report that Juve were present to observe the 23-year-old with the suggestion that the Bianconeri have followed him for some time.

Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas is reportedly keen to hang on to the young talent and any prospective negotiations are expected to be very difficult, given the interest in Dembele.

The Bianconeri are looking for another striker given that their interest in Inter striker Mauro Icardi has reportedly waned, however Dembele is expected to cost in excess of €30m.
