Claudio Marchisio and Stefano Sturaro have returned to training while Paul Pogba is due back in seven days.

The two midfielders have been out due to muscular injuries but the pair returned to full training this week and even managed to play in an hour-long friendly against local team Aygreville.

Pogba, meanwhile, is recovering after spraining his ankle while on international duty with France.

“Paul Pogba came back to Vinovo yesterday evening, having suffered a sprain to his right ankle,” reads an official statement on Juve’s website.

“The player was visited by the Juventus medical staff, who confirmed the diagnosis of their French colleagues.

“The return to sporting activities will be possible in around seven days.”

Mario Mandzukic is another who returned early from international duty, having been surprisingly called up to the Croatian national squad, despite tearing a muscle.

The striker is back in Turin and will continue his rehabilitation with the Juve medical team.
