A sensational report from Calciomercato reveals that Max Allegri is set to quit his role as the manager of Juventus at the end of this season.
The gaffer returned to the club last season after being sacked in 2019 and has struggled to replicate the success of his first spell.
At several stages this term, he could have been sacked, but the club’s former leadership kept faith in the serial Serie A winner.
He is now helping Juve navigate a difficult period on and off the pitch and showing why he is one of the best men in the business.
This should make his job safe. However, a report on Calciomercato reveals he has told the Bianconeri he would like to walk away at the end of the season.
This means Juve must begin searching for a replacement and they will consider naming a gaffer that will work well with young players.
Juve FC Says
Even though only some Juventus fans love him, Allegri remains one of the best coaches the Bianconeri have had and it would be hard to find a replacement that knows the club as he does.
However, if his return continues to be barren, the club must try another manager who can end the trophy drought.
he knows that the players are better than this. but this is a smokescreen, the management are happy to be Italy`s arsenal.
If juve were arsenal they would of backed in pirlo like they did arteta and been three years into a youth focused rebuild
Good riddance if it’s true. There are plenty of eligible coaches who can teach and utilize the talent on this team.
I don’t believe this…. I would be very happy if it were true. Many news articles on this website are just speculation and turn out to be nonsense.
Let’s be honest, with all the injuries and crisis he is doing a great job. Yes, he’s not liked and his style of play is not fascinating. But, of it wouldn’t ne the 15 point deduction, we’d be sitting 2nd right now on pair with shinter (Juve has a better goal difference). But, unfortunately, we made a wrong turn back in 2018 when Ronaldo came and Marotta left. This is when it all went wrong. So don’t blame Allegri. With all the turbulance that was and is to come he’s performing great
Juve lost 5 matches out of 6 in CL including a humilating loss against Macabi haifa , got zero points from Monza in two matches , got destroyed in Napoli match , our players regressed and we don’t have solid defense nor clear plan especially in the openent half even against small teams yet you think he is doing great job !
Do you really think being second behind Napoli by 15 points is something great and proud of ?
Injuries , it happens to all teams
And let’s be honest, this season is a transition season. We are rebuilding the team. If we win a trophy that would be considered as big success. Look at Bayern, Barcelona, Real, all the leading clubs except the EPL ones (perhaps MU, Liverpool and Chelsea an exception). They all had crossed the turbulent zone. We will make it as well. Forza Juve!
He is one of the best according to his first stint with Juve and that’s not something hard to achieve regarding how the team was much stronger than the rest in Italy but according to the performance and the negative records in his current stint it would be safe to say he is one of the worst , even worse than pirlo who was absolute inexperinced coach
