On Saturday, Juventus left the pitch empty-handed following a poor showing against Milan. The Bianconeri had some chances early on, but inexplicably faded as the match progressed.
Despite the controversial opener, the Rossoneri admittedly deserved to come away with all three points after dominating the majority of the action and producing a superior level of football.
Fikayo Tomori put the Rossoneri in the lead just before halftime, and Brahim Diaz made it 2-0 after the break with a dazzling run which left the Juventus defenders in his wake.
Following the match, Max Allegri had to face the music, and tried to explain his team’s problems for the press.
The under-fire tactician believes his team had the wrong approach following the first 20 minutes, as his players started to play the ball backwards.
The Livorno native also feels that his side’s problems could be of psychological nature.
“After tonight’s game, there is little to say, we are enduring an inconsistent period,” said Allegri in his post-match interview with DAZN via Calciomercato.
“We though we had come out of the negative period but tonight we fell back. The first 20 minutes went well, then we started playing backwards and we didn’t create chances anymore.
“We did many things wrong on the technical level, so it’s normal that we pay for it.
“I think there was also a psychological condition, now it’s not easy at this moment, because you get two good results, then you get one wrong.
“We lost a lot of points against smaller clubs. It’s normal that when you play the big clashes you have to get there in a good psychological condition.
“The team also had a good first half, unfortunately we capitulated. But already in the first half, we were making technical errors. We gave Leao an open field.
“On Tuesday, we must go to play Maccabi Haifa with mental strength and win the game.”
I am tired of watching Juve with this guy enough, if we lose to Macabi on Wednesday he must go
If they don’t win. He should go. But they have already proved that they care more about the money than the success of the team. Any other coach at juve would have been sacked already.
Yeah well they can’t afford to lose anymore money. He has a enormous contract that they should never have given. I don’t know what they were thinking. He makes €9 million. I think that is more than everyone except Vlahovic. That is so stupid.
Yeah the money issue is important but also our fans are not going to the stadium as they dont want to see the Team playing like this so this is costing us as well. Its tragic the situation at the momment. He needs to go we are unwatchable and its a crying shame
Winning against Bologna and Haifa? Those considered routine. Still feels he is part of the solution and working on it ? Please inform also due date for your resignation….how can this poor McKennie even plays substitutes role…overpaid playing and non playing staff all over the place…because demand is also as high as what you take…those Serbian forwards were uninspiring at all. Repeatedly making mistake and cost us a goal tonight. They were unworthyly allowed 1st team football too soon. Moise Kean himself is more senior in this Juve team. And never be considered a solution.
Agree, it IS a psychological condition.
One Allegri instilled in the team with negative tactics… One, as coach, he is solely responsible for.
Completely agree
Completely agree too

Vlahovic will get the blame along with others no doubt. Agnelli allowing this to continue disgusts me, as for allegri, how much money do you need in life? coaching a team to play for twenty minutes then live in fear, that is him and his mentality. We will win against Maccabi because they are so poor and the gulf in quality of players who also deserve so much better than this, and the cheerleaders will try to save agnelli face, but we know the problem, and it could have been solved by swallowing pride and doing the right thing for every person at the club below Allegri. If he`s here in the January window, there will be a mass exodus, they are showing how little they value us and the players. The Italian kroenke and glazers, and we are more or less a mid table embarrassment, not sure we can recover
it might be too late even now #AllegriOut #DontLetBulliesWin
If I remember the board said, that they expect 13 points in the next 5 games, to save his (Allegri) job, but unfortunately as Concon said, they care more about money than Juventus, unless they prove me wrong. It is sad that the board don’t see that continuing with Allegri will cost them even more money than firing him, because I doubt they can go all the way in Europa league and finnish 4th in Serrie A.
How can anyone think himself to be a part of solution if he always have exuses under his sleeves. Man of the solution will take responsibility and find a way, man of the problem will find an excuse.
If Agnelli (and co.) fire Agnelli now he will lose a pride and some money, but if he won’t fire him he (and Juve) will lose a lot more together with pride.
The Juve’s issues is ALLEGRI!
