Juventus recognised Radu Dragusin as a top talent when he broke into their first team, having been impressed with his performances in their youth team.

Numerous clubs expressed interest in signing the Romanian as he made progress with the first team, and he even had the opportunity to move to the Premier League.

With his contract set to expire, Juventus provided him with opportunities in the first team, and he ultimately signed a long-term deal with the club, eagerly anticipating a future in black and white.

Nevertheless, at the beginning of the last season, Juventus decided to loan him out to Genoa with a buy-option clause in exchange for Andrea Cambiaso, a player they had scouted for an extended period.

Although Juventus eventually worked out the deal, Dragusin was hesitant to move to Serie B and delayed his decision for several weeks.

The defender’s agent has now confessed that they were disappointed to leave Juventus.

Florin Manea said, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb:

“I’m disappointed that he was sold, it happens in life, but I’ve never had a doubt about Radu, given that I know the great work he does every day. He pays attention to every little detail, especially his diet He was lucky to be in the same dressing room as Ronaldo, Buffon and Chiellini who still gives him some advice today. His dream is to reach the highest levels.”

Juve FC Says

Dragusin may have been hurt that we sold him, but he is enjoying the benefit of that transfer now because he is a regular at Genoa.

If he was still at Juve, there is no guarantee that he would be getting chances to play for the Bianconeri regularly.
