Alex Sandro is on the verge of a move to Manchester United, according to reports from Turin based media.

Turin newspaper La Stampa report that United are finalising a €50m deal for the Brazilian left-back and the deal could be announced in the coming days, most likely after United play Chelsea in the FA Cup final at the weekend.

The report suggests that the deal could be partly linked to the move for Matteo Darmian who is expected to be the first new signing for Juventus this summer, although the transfer would be concluded separately from the deal for Sandro.

The Brazilian has had poor season by all accounts, suffering from a dip in form before eventually being replaced by Kwadwo Asamoah at left-back.

Sandro has made 113 appearances for Juventus over three seasons in Turin, scoring nine goals and helping the Bianconeri to three consecutive Coppa Italia and Scudetto doubles.
