Reports suggest Chelsea will make another bid for Alex Sandro, however the Bianconeri will refuse the offer.

The Premier League side and continuing their pursuit of Juve’s Brazilian left-back, despite having their previous €60m offer refused.

Reports from The Times and the less-than-reliable CalcioMercato suggest that Antonio Conte is insistent on securing Sandro and will ask the board to make another bid for Sandro believed to be in the region of €70 million.

Sandro has featured in pre-season for Juve, playing in the recent friendly win over PSG, which suggests that he is firmly in Max Allegri’s plans for the season ahead.

The previous suggestion was that Juve will offer the player an improved contract to remain in Turin, and that may still happen, although there’s been no news as yet.

Previous reports from Sky Sport Italia suggested Juve were attempting to bring back Leonardo Spinazzola ahead of schedule, although there was no suggestion that this was to replace Sandro. It’s more likely the young left-back would return to Turin to be an understudy to the Brazilian, rather than replace him.

Juve have broken even on their summer spending and sales, and given the departure of Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan, it seems unlikely that Juve would capitulate in the face of a hefty offer from Chelsea.
