Chelsea and Barcelona will lead the chase for Paul Pogba who could leave Juventus in the summer.
According to reports from France, the Bianconeri are open to selling their prized French midfielder with Chelsea being the likeliest destination.
L’Equipe report that The Blues are still keen on signing Pogba, despite reportedly having a bid of €95m rejected last summer.
With former Juventus coach Antonio Conte poised to take over at Stamford Bridge, the report suggests Chelsea may have an advantage over the likes of Barcelona, however they won’t be able to offer Pogba Champions League football next season.
Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also interested in a possible move for the midfielder.
No CL = no chance. Chelsea are whistling in the wind with this if there is any truth in it. He doesn’t need to go to Chelsea to pick up 250k a week, as others will pay him that and give him CL football.
Agreed, DB. Bayern, Barca, Real or PSG are the only teams I believe Paul will consider. He does not seem the mercenary type and has already lived in Manchester before. So I doubt City will appeal to him. Whatever the money. And as with United, they likely will miss out on champions league football next season. Big chance for us to pick up some players who otherwise would follow the money to England. Of course there remain the four I mentioned above, who can offer him huge wages and the opportunity to challenge for top honours. I am still not convinced he will leave this Summer…
