There are suggestions from various parts of the Italian press that Claudio Marchisio is preparing to leave Juventus to play abroad.

The midfielder has a contract with Juventus until 2020 but was featured sparingly last season as he struggled for fitness following an ACL tear.

There was a suggestion last summer that I Principino was leaving the club but he was quick to dismiss those rumours, however reports from the Italian press say he is now giving it thought with offers from Monaco, America, China, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio and Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti report that Marchisio’s future is in the balance and he is considering proposals from a host of clubs, all outside of Italy.

Monaco are thought to be ahead of the rest and there’s a suggestion that Juventus and Marchisio will both agree to the termination of his contract by mutual consent.

Gianluca Momblano who broke the Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus story, also reports along the same lines with a suggestion that this will allow Marchisio free to negotiate his contract with a new club.
