Paulo Dybala is prepared to stay at Juventus “forever” if President Agnelli wants him to.
La Joya played his part in Juve’s brief comeback against Lazio, but he was quick to point out the Bianconeri didn’t deserve the win last night.
“Did Lazio deserve the win? I think so,” he told RAI Sport.
“They were surprised after 2-2, but we did not change the outcome of the game, we didn’t do much to deserve the win.
“My two goals? I can’t be selfish on such an evening, It would be unfair for everyone. I’m wearing an important shirt. It’s time to win.
“The difficulties in winning may come from us, if we think we are the best, we are strong, it depends on us, yes. Important players left, but others have come in.
“Barcelona? I don’t think of teams that are not Juventus, I have talked to the club and the fans, I have expressed my ideas, and if they want to keep me here forever, it’s up to them.
“Would I stay here forever? I am happy here, I renewed three months ago, the club asked me to take the 10, I thought for two days and said ‘why not?’ I want to grow here, if the president wants, I’ll stay here forever.”
Great to hear. He’s our most important player. BUT, to convince him to stay and to conquer Real and Bayern, Juve need a player of Sandro’s quality for the other side and a leader with muscles in the midfield. Especially the back position. De Sciglio doesn’t have the pace, crosses or the ability to take on defenders. Imagine two of Sandro and a player with Vidal’s quality for the midfield – we would be the same level as Real and Bayern. In my opinion we’re a bit behind.
