Banned Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli is not avoiding the spotlight as he serves a seven-month suspension for illegal betting.

Fagioli has been a key player for Juve since breaking into the first team last season, and his role was expected to become even more significant in the current campaign. However, he will now be sidelined for the rest of this season, and Juventus is likely to sign at least one midfielder during the January transfer window.

Despite his publicised offence, Fagioli has been granted permission to continue training with the team and will continue to receive his full salary.

While he might be expected to withdraw from public appearances, Fagioli is not doing so. Calciomercato reports that he was in the stands as Juventus faced AC Milan yesterday. Although he couldn’t contribute on the pitch, he offered as much support as possible to his team from the stands.

Juve FC Says

Fagioli is serving a long ban, which is enough punishment for his wrongdoing, and he should be allowed to live his life as usual.

He admitted to the offence and has helped the authorities build a strong case. He is also undergoing treatment, so he has permission to move around and live an everyday life.
