Reports from across the Italian media suggest that Gonzalo Higuain is unconvinced by the terms offered by AC Milan.

The Argentine striker has been deemed surplus to requirements this summer following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Juve are looking to move him along to cut back on salary costs.

As such, a loan move to AC Milan was thought to be in the offing, alongside the transfer of Mattia Caldara and Leonardo Bonucci from club to club.

Asked yesterday whether Higuain’s move to AC Milan was complete, Juventus GM Beppe Marotta replied “Not really…”, leading to speculation that things had not yet been finalised.

Gazzetta Dello Sport, La Stampa, Sky Sport Italia and a number of others now report that Pipita is not convinced by the loan offer from Milan.

There’s a suggestion that the striker would like a higher salary in order to join the Rossoneri as well as a ‘golden handshake’ from Juventus before making the move.
