Gonzalo Higuain wants to remain at Juventus next season and fight for his place despite having an offer from Roma.

The Argentine forward spent last season on loan at AC Milan and Chelsea, respectively but is Juve player again as neither side opted to sign him outright.

Sky Sport Italia and others report that Pipita is insistent that he will stay in Turin next season and won’t entertain a possible move to Roma.

There’s even a suggestion that Higuain has hired a personal trainer to work with him during the summer in an effort to impress Maurizio Sarri ahead of the new season.

Juve are looking to move on the players on the fringes of the squad as they look to revitalise the team with Sky linking the Bianconeri to Romelu Lukaku, Mauro Icardi and Paul Pogba.
