Palermo have confirmed that Argentine striker Paulo Dybala is now a Juventus player.
The 21-year-old was left on the bench for his sides 1-0 victory over Cagliari as club President Maurizio Zamparini doesn’t want him to be injured before completing his move to the Bianconeri.
Speaking after the game, Palermo Coach Beppe Iachini declared told Sky Sport: “Dybala is now a Juventus player and this club is working towards the future,”
The total value of the deal is believed to be €40m which includes a cash payment, player-related bonuses and the exchange of co-owned players.
Awesome. Berardi-Dybala-Morata season after next.
Saw a rumor that said Zaza is far more ready to step up than Berardi. Worst rumor I ever saw, so I punched it in the face. Wake up Marotta, Zaza is a waste, he’s a bench player at best, but if we bought him, he would be a good bargaining chip for a better player. Bring back Berardi, we’ve bought Dybala, we have Tevez and Morata. Sell Llorente, sign a free transfer CF, and promote a youth player if need be. We really only need a LB and CM. Darmian (LB/RB) would be a fine addition, Zaza for Darmian. Done. Do it Marotta. Allan as CM from Udinese because they love us, and he is the next Vidal. Not Witsel, not Ramires, not Nainggolan. Plus, he’s cheaper and salary would be less, and Udinese would love to take some players in exchange. Coman and/or Sturaro on loan, De Ceglie, Isla, Padoin, Ogbonna, Pepe, all players that Udinese could use immediately.
+ Rugani and the return of Martin Caceres.
Solely based on stats, i dont understand that rumor… its been a rumor since the january transfer window. Maybe it has to do more with disciplinary reasons, but i doubt Berardi is someone like Balotelli. Last i checked, he loses his temper, but thats fixable amongst discipline champions. Tevez had a far wprst reptation and look at him today, not a single problem from him
I’m not a fan of Zaza. But, I’d rather buy him back and dictate where he goes, because he’s probably worth more than 15m, plus take Torino’s best player from them, who would start for us immediately. We’d have the next Zambrotta, who would be starting for Juve and Italy at either RB/LB for the foreseeable future. Torino would have a good CF who would start for them, they’re in a decent place right now to where they should continually finish higher than Sassuolo without Berardi, or most other places Zaza could go and start, and he’d still be young enough to leave there after a few seasons. Win win for everyone.
We didn’t even get any problems from Osvaldo who punches teammates everywhere he goes. At Juve there are no attitude problems.
Don’t know where this comes from but apparently that’s how they see things. I wouldn’t mind giving Zaza a season at Juve, see how he does at the club. If he isn’t good enough to get a starter spot or compete for one, then we could sell him. I do know I prefer to have Zaza on the bench than Matri or Llorente.
I’d like Darmian, we could try to involve De Ceglie, Isla or Padoin in that deal. If not, go for Coentrao or Rodriguez
I like the point about Udinese. I’d give them pretty much anyone you named there and take Allan. I don’t want Witsel or Nainggolan.
In any case, this transfer season we really need to make the most of our new financial strength. Get rid of dead weight and bring in useful quality.
juventus dream team next year
Why would you field 4 strikers, 2 of them in a midfield role? 😛
In a 4-3-1-2 I’d go for
Buffon
Lichtsteiner Bonucci Chiellini Darmian
Vidal Marchisio Pogba
Tevez
Morata Dybala
The season after next season, Berardi takes Tevez’ place
I think dybala is more of a treq than tevez but there’s so much freedom with our strikers that they would be interchangeable most of the time
Yeah agreed there, just Morata should be a real striker. Dybala and Tevez could change positions easily
It’ll be interesting to see if we transition to a formation that utilizes wingers (433, 4231) after tevez leaves
With Berardi and maybe others, we have the option to do so. A 3 striker system with Dybala – Morata – Berardi would be great
Agreed, future certainly looks bright! Good time to be a juventino
Thats for sure, talented youth coming in is good, we need to work them into this team or suffer the same fate as the 2010 Inter
As much as I love hearing about Coman, Zaza, dybala, morata, and berardi…tevez will be gone after next year and that will leave us with no veteran presence. I’m assuming Llorente will not be around anymore so It’ll be interesting to see management think they need to bring in a striker who has some serie A experience or can help or younger players grow
You mean no veteran in strikers then I assume? I’ve seen Juve wants Cavani if Tevez is to leave now. Next season it would probably depend whether Morata is still with us and how Dybala has worked out. If they both do good, I don’t think they’ll look for another veteran, but it’s likely they’ll chase Cavani or Falcao anyway
The great thing we have done recently is being able to contain young players or newcomers that have a bit of a temper or attitude problem. I just feel like older players, like tevez & nando who are true professionals, are needed in a squad to keep balance.
Oh you mean like that. Good point, but I think we have plenty of veterans for that. Buffon will be around for a few more seasons and then we still have players near to 30 by then, like Marchisio and Chiellini, and there’s a whole lot more players well above 25 years old.
I don’t really worry about lockerroom problems, you need youth and talent to keep growing and evolving. Relying on experience too much isn’t healthy. Especially in modern football where speed, pace, technique is so essential.
Yeah I don’t think I really am either haha. Something about all these younger players coming in all at once does worry me a little. Mostly because they’re all attacking players and Tevez is our only veteran in that department. I think dybala playing aside tevez for a year will be huge for his growth bc they are both argentines and tevez is so experienced/smart/talented. If berardi is brought in not this summer but the next I think my fear is that he will have no mentor type of player
That might be a good worry actually. But on the other hand, at that point Tevez, Llorente and Matri will be gone, leaving us with Morata, Dybala and possibly Coman, if he is back from loan/not sold.
Meaning we’ll definitely need another striker, even for the sake of rotation alone. So hello Cavani, Falcao, Van Persie, (insert veteran)
Yep I think it’ll be interesting to see how the whole cavani saga plays out this summer. Sky reported that we are going to meet his agent in Paris tomorrow. I don’t think we’ll wind up getting him this summer though
Yeah me neither, but I don’t think we need him for next season either, not if we have Tevez, Morata, Dybala and maybe one more new guy or keep Llorente for rotation. Pretty sure Coman will be loaned out and Matri will bugger off to Fiorentina again
Also if he comes that means tevez and cavani would have the 2 starting spots and Morata has definitely earned that spot this season imo
Yup, Morata definitely has to keep a starting spot. But you could also play with Tevez trequartista and have both Cavani and Morata up front as strikers.
Just doesn’t leave much space for rotation then
https://youtu.be/QP8YWoLoGTI Pretty fucking Nice
Don’t let Youtube video’s guide your opinion on players man. It’s one hell of a nice video, but you can make Bendtner look like a football god on Youtube xD
Yeah i know ! But juSt feeling THE buzzzz of a new player .. Thank god it is not THE signing of Matri !!!
Hahaha that is true :p

Peter Crouch is better than Dybala according to Youtube.
Hahaaaaa !!!
Yeah i know ! But juSt feeling THE buzzzz of a new player .. Thank god it is not THE signing of Matri
I still have doubts about Dybala…BUT, i think he’s at an age where he will benefit from being at Juventus.
He sulks when the game isn;t going his way, but i figure Juve is the place to get over that and develop as a player.
Either way, I’m excited about him joining. Huge coup for us. Beat Inter, Roma, Chelsea and various others to his signature. Says a lot about where we’ve come in the last few seasons
