Barcelona midfielder wants a move to Juventus rather than Milan or a switch to the Premier League.

The Croatian international has spent much of the season on the bench and is reportedly keen to switch clubs this winter.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo today, Barcelona director Eric Abidal confirmed Rakitic is no longer part of their plans:

“Rakitic knows that it is a sporting decision. He must understand it. He had already been warned that he was out of our plans.”

Spanish paper Sport report that Barca have already rejected a €15m offer from a Premier League club to sign the midfielder in the January transfer window.

Milan have also reportedly made their interest known, however according to Sport, Rakitic has his heart set on joining Juventus.

There’s no indication if any potential move would take place in January or in June 2020, while the player is currently recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.
