Juventus could complete the signing of Porto full-back Alex Sandro later today but may have abandoned their pursuit of Julian Draxler.
Speaking to the press ahead of Juve’s traditional Villar Perosa match against the youth team, Sporting Director Beppe Marotta clarified Juve’s position in the market at present.
“I think we can close things for Alex Sandro in the evening,” Marotta told reporters.
“We’ve kind of abandoned the Draxler option for several reasons, but we’re looking for a trequartista. We want a top player, they’re not easy to find.
“Henrikh Mkhitaryan? I don’t know if Borussia would sell him. Gundogan was a target, but I don’t think it’s feasibile.
“Juan Cuadrado? Maybe he’ll be on the market. We’re looking for someone with different characteristics, but we have 10 days to fill the gap in midfield, so we’ll see.
“We have 10 days to get another player as well as Alex Sandro.”

We have one very good signing in the bag, next year we have Berardi and maybe Vrsaljko (or whatever way his last name is written). So right now i am very excited, if we sign a treq it’s just gonna be a dreamy mercato, and that seems to be the case.
They’ll get the trequartista … They know they need it if they want to remain competitive in Europe.

Why not Pogba at the nr10 spot??? I think would be great, a real lazy nr10 like in the old ages has no place in modern football, so why not a great atlete like Pogba, he can run back to help out the midfield, set higher pressure on the defence of the opponent, he is a great altelte so his pressence in the box is a real danger (like Fellaini with Man U). Could work
… and Asmaoh if he gets is old form back, or Sturare (getting more and more admiration for him) in the midfield.

Brilliant signing! What a roller coaster ride this has been! Started off with a bang but then we lost 3 key players, and now this! Signing a good young tq and selling Llorrente would be perfection.
If the game is with a tq,no need of Llorente, but still, he is really a great player
