Juventus are expected to announce the renewal of coach Max Allegri’s deal today.

The Bianconeri have hinted on numerous occasions that a deal has been reached, with GM Beppe Marotta calling it “a formality”.

Allegri confirmed his intention to stay in recent weeks, insisting he wants to remain in Turin and continue his work at the club.

Both Sky Sport Italia and Calciomercato report that the extension will be announced today, despite having been signed yesterday evening.

The contract is expected to extend Allegri’s current deal until 2018, earning him €5m per season.

Allegri has successfully led the Bianconeri to a second successive Scudetto, their fifth in a row, and he could become the first Serie A coach to win a domestic double for two seasons in a row, if Juve beat Milan in the Coppa Italia final.
