Sevilla refuse to budge on Steven N’Zonzi so Juventus are seeking alternatives in the shape of Blaise Matuidi and Emre Can.

N’Zonzi remains the primary target, however Sevilla are intent on receiving the full 40m for the midfielder, leading the Bianconeri to look at alternatives for central midfield role.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the first name is Blaise Matuidi whose contract expires in 2018. Despite having previous bids for the Frenchan turned down, the report suggests PSG chairman Al-Khelaifi would not oppose his sale this time round. Despite not being a like-for-like fit, it’s suggested Matuidi could fill the role in the 4-2-3-1 formation that Allegri’s looks set to continue with.

A second name is Liverpool’s Emre Can, a player Fabio Paratici is reportedly very impressed by. The 23-year-old represents are a more interesting for Juve as he’s yet to sign a contract extension, and like Matuidi, his existing deal with the Red’s ends in 2018.
