Reports from Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio suggest that Juventus have met with the agent of Ezequiel Lavezzi.

According to Di Marzio’s website, Juve have met with Alejandro Mazzoni, the players agent, and are making initial enquries about the availability of the Argentine striker.

Given Lavezzi’s high salary, it’s not yet clear how easily a deal could be agreed, especially when Inter and AC Milan are also both interested in acquiring the player.

The striker has started just 2 games this season and has featured heavily as a substitute which may be reason enough for him to look for a return to Serie A where he previously played for Napoli.
