Juventus have met with Inter Milan to discuss a potential transfer for striker Mauro Icardi.

The Bianconeri have been linked with the Argentine forward since last summer and rumours heightened during Icardi’s recent impasse with Inter management.

Corriere di Torino now report that Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici met with his Inter counterpart Piero Ausilio during the Champions League semi-final between Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax in London.

The Turin based newspaper reports that Juve are prepared to spend up to €60m for Icardi while Inter value him at in excess of €80m and while there has been a suggestion of a player trade, the Bianconeri have ruled out any exchange involving Paulo Dybala.

Inter could cash in on their star striker this summer given ongoing disputes, the latest in a series of incidents involving Icardi and wife and agent, Wanda Nara.
