Juventus are looking to strengthen their squad next summer by focusing on three key signings, according to reports in Italy.

The Bianconeri have spent heavily over the last few summers, making big-name signings funded by intelligent sales as they saw a steady increase in revenue and profits.

The club have an exceptional track record with the signing of players on free contracts, having added Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Kingsley Coman, Sami Khedira and a number of others for next to nothing. The next name on the list could be Emre Can who continues to be linked with a move to Turin next summer.

Tuttosport report that Juventus will look to Can to add some steel and muscle to the midfield and is being touted as the ideal player to accompany Miralem Pjanic in midfield. The Bosnian playmaker has excelled this year, benefiting greatly by having Blaise Matuidi alongside him in a 2-man midfield pivot.

Next up, Juve are seen as a possible destination for Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam. The 26-year-old Algerian left-back is in the final year of his contract in Naples and has yet to agree an extension, despite enjoying a strong start to the season, making 15 appearances and scoring 2 goals in all competitions. The Bianconeri would face strong competition for Ghoulam from a number of Premier League sides, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The experienced full-back is currently out of action with a knee injury which could see him out of action until the end of the season, however he is seen as the perfect addition to the Juve squad, should Alex Sandro decide to leave next summer. The Brazilian was the subject of a sustained transfer bid from Chelsea in the last transfer window, however he opted to stay at the club with reports of a new contract on the horizon. Sandro has yet to recover from his devastating form last season and may yet be sold, should the Bianconeri directors receive a high enough offer.

Finally, Juve are being linked heavily with a move for Lazio superstar Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The midfielder has been one of the revelations of the season, playing across the midfield and excelling in every position, scoring goals and becoming vital to the Lazio squad. The Biancocelesti have maintained a 100% record in the Europa League while sustaining a strong start in the league where they currently lie in 4th place.

Milinkovic-Savic is seen as one of the key players in the Lazio team and as such, his price tag could exceed €70m with club chairman and owner Claudio Lotito confirming in the summer that he had already rejected that amount once already. Relations between the two clubs are at an all time low, in part due to Juve’s pursuit of Balde Keita. The Senegalese winger was in his final year at Lazio and reportedly vying for a move to Juventus, despite ultimately joining Monaco in a €30m transfer.

Juventus aren’t the only club interested in Savic with interest now gathering from a host of Europe’s top sides, including Manchester United and Real Madrid. With 16 appearances and 4 goals in all competitions, it’s almost that the Serbian international will be leaving the capital next summer.
