Juventus could be making one final push to sign Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler.
Both Gianluca Di Marzio and SportMediaset report that the Bianconeri are making another enquiry for the player who they already have an agreement in principle with.
The latest reports confirm what we already know – Schalke won’t accept anything less than €32.5m for the player while Juve’s offer is closer to €25m including bonuses.
Draxler admitted that his situation may change earlier this week in a post-match interview following Schalke’s 1-1 draw against Darmstadt.
“My future? I am not the one to talk to, so you’ll have to ask my club. I can only say that for now I am a Schalke player and I’m happy about that.” He told reporters
“The situation could change from now to the end of the month, but I repeat for now I am focused on doing my best for Schalke.
“It is beyond doubt that the interest of some big clubs was very pleasing.”
