Juventus are close to signing Matias Soulé as FIFA are considering the application to sign the 16-year-old from Velez Sarsfield.

The youngster has been linked with a number of European clubs but it seems the Bianconeri may strike first and could potentially have agreed a deal to sign the starlet in January.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus have secured the youngster after sending a request to FIFA last week, with Soulé expected to sign in January.

The Argentine has already drawn comparisons to Angel di Maria while Gazzetta go on to report that Soulé’s mother has already helped facilitate the move to Turin by obtaining an Italian passport.
