Juventus and Inter could do battle to sign on-loan Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante.

The 22-year-old former Milan starlet joined Benfica in 2014 before heading on loan to Atalanta for the 2017 season, where he’s scored eight goals in 22 games, drawing the attention of many of Europe’s big clubs.

Atalanta are expected to exercise their option to sign Cristante outright and could then sell him on immediately next summer, with two Italian sides possibly leading the pack.

According to La Stampa, both Juventus and Inter Milan are interested in signing the versatile midfielder, with both sides possibly having an edge in negotiations. The Nerazzurri recently signed Roberto Gagliardini from La Dea while Juventus have conducted a number of loan and transfer deals with the Orobici, including deals for Mattia Caldara, Leonardo Spinazzola and Riccardo Orsolini.
