Juventus are certain to sign Douglas Costa on a permanent deal following his loan spell this season.

The 27-year-old Brazilian winger joined the Bianconeri on a one-year loan deal costing €6m with an option to buy set at €40m.

According to Goal Italia journalist Romeo Agresti, Juventus are sold on Costa, who has offered Coach Max Allegri something different in attack, and are certain to make the large investment to sign him outright.

Juventus have already paid Bayern Munich €6m and will pay the remaining €40m over two years, making Costa the clubs most expensive signing outside of their signings in Italy, the previous being Diego, signed from Wolfsburg for €28m.

Costa has scored two goals and provided six assists across all competitions.
